Subscription-based accounting platform for landlords
Introduction
Hammock is the accounting platform for landlords. It was created by Manoj Varsani MBE, a former CTO and landlord, to help his fellow landlords leave the spreadsheets behind and maximise their profit.
Giving you real-time updates on your rental income and expenses, Hammock supports landlords in the key areas of property finance management:
| Bookkeeping | Your payments are automatically reconciled in real-time. Keep a running balance of any arrears per tenant. |
| Tax | Keep an eye on the forecast of your property tax statement and avoid surprise tax bills. |
| Financial Performance | View profit and loss per property, as well as yields, occupancy rates, and all key metrics. |
| Compliance | Store documents and set reminders for their expiry (gas certificates, insurance policies etc). |
Managing all tenancies, you can add everything from standard AST’s and HMO’s, through to furnished holiday lets.
Hammock caters for all ownership structures as well: personal, joint ownership, partnerships and limited companies.
The platform can be accessed easily from your computer, tablet and phone. There is also a mobile app, available for both iOS and Android, to monitor and manage your payments on the go. There is no software installation required and it takes just a few minutes to get started.
Making Tax Digital (MTD) will soon become a reality for landlords. Its requirement for quarterly reporting will turn the annual rush to tax filing into an ongoing race against time. Hammock will help you keep your records fully digital and up-to-date with all your transactions. You can also invite your accountant to access records of your transactions and receipts, and to exchange notes with you on specific items.

Hammock’s prices work as a monthly subscription based on the number of properties managed. You can cancel any time and your subscription will end at the end of the billing period.
