Only last year Sam Cooke, then Marketing Manager for Blue Bricks Magazine, took the plunge and acquired the business for himself.
The brand had been established for a couple of years at that point, but the realities of growing business had meant it hadn’t actually made a profit or much of an impact in the property market at that point.
So, armed with no money and little other resources, Sam began his journey of building the business from zero to a readership of over 14,000 fans. We caught up with Sam to catch up on how he did this, and what lessons our members could take to grow their own businesses and communities in the ever-changing property market.
